Death of Supercars

First, the good news. The Audi R8 GT and the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport are some of the greatest supercars that man had invented. So great, that the makers of the cars had only made a few of the cars. Audi only made 333 R8 GTs world wide. Bugatti made fewer, 22 of the Grand Sport cars are seen running around the world. Why are these supercars so great? Their speed are undeniably fast, their quality is over the top, and their price could kill your wallet.

Now, for the bad news...

The German Autobahn became a slaughterhouse for supercars early October as the Audi R8 GT slipped on the wet Autobahn, "kissed" the road barrier, performed several flips in the air, before slamming down on the road shoulder and burst into flames. The driver jumped just in the nick of time as the supercar became a superwreck in a sea of fire.

Two days earlier, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport was relaxing on the Autobahn with the speed of 125mph when another car came and tried to overtake the 16 wheel lorry in front of the Veyron. As the driver couldn't react in time, the Veyron literally sandwich itself between the lorry and the other car, smashing the corners of the cars. The lorry went out of control and crashed into the guardrail, and had to be lifted with a CRANE.

The drivers involved in both accidents survived, but the accidents killed their owner's wallets. Yikes.
