Chelsea had been very awesome this season! They've won six of their eight games, lost once, and drew once, including an emphatic double 6-0 win over West Brom and Wigan Athletic, a 1-0 loss to Manchester City, and a 0-0 draw against the tough-at-home Aston Villa. They are also the most productive team in the Premier League, with the goal difference of 21. Didier Drogba and Florent Malouda are the team's top scorers, each scoring 6 goals, one shy from Manchester City's Carlos Tevez, who had scored 7 goals and is sitting on the top of the top scorer's table.
In the Champions League, Chelsea currently leads Group F which also includes French powerhouse Olympique Marseille, Russian champion Spartak Moskva, and Slovakian MSK Zillina. Chelsea destroyed Zillina 4-1 in Matchday 1, before defeating O.M. at the Bridge 2-0 before finally overcoming their dark 2008 Moscow Champions League Final memory when they slay Spartak 2-0 thanks to a cannonball from Yuri Zhirkov and a goal from Nicholas Anelka.
Their upcoming game in the Premier League is against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge. Seeing that Wolves, now 18th in the table, are easy pickings, they should win again. With Liverpool in the red zone, Manchester United having the Wayne Rooney crisis, and having defeated Arsenal at the Bridge with two goals to nil, who could stop The Blues???
